Sub-Millimeter Profiling and Monitoring of Any Assets
MetaSpatial EchoProfiler is a high-definition optical profiling and deformation-monitoring system designed to capture the complete structural signature of roads, railways and critical industrial assets. The system records a continuous measurement swath of up to 5 metres, producing precise transverse and longitudinal profiles with sub-millimetre measurement capability.
For road applications, EchoProfiler measures rutting, depressions, bumps, edge deformation, surface irregularities and roughness across the full lane width. It can calculate road-condition indicators such as the International Roughness Index (IRI) while removing many of the blind spots associated with single-wheel-track laser bars or subjective visual inspections. Each detected anomaly is linked to high-accuracy GNSS positioning, imagery and profile geometry, then published to the Evolve data-management and analytics platform or exported to existing GIS and asset-management systems.
